Terms of service

Last updated: 11 October 2026

The contract between you, the account holder, and Invozo. It is written to be read. If a sentence is unclear, ask us before you accept.

01Who we are

Invozo is operated by [company name to be completed], registered under number [registration number to be completed], with its registered office at [registered office to be completed]. In these terms “we” means that company and “you” means the person who holds the account.

These terms apply together with the Self-billing agreement, the Acceptable use and protection policy, the Refunds policy and the Privacy policy. By opening an account you accept all of them.

02Who can open an account

You can open an account only if all of this is true:

One person, one account. We do not open accounts for venues, agencies, managers, partners or anyone acting for another person.

03Checks before you start

Before your first payment link we check your identity, your age, your registration and your bank account. The list of documents for each country is on our website and in your account.

We may ask for a document again, for example when it expires or when the law changes. Until every required document is approved, the account cannot create payment links.

You must keep your details correct and tell us within 7 days if your name, tax status, registration, right to work or bank account changes.

04What the service is

You create a payment link for an amount you choose. Your client pays by card on a secure page. Invozo is the merchant of record: we take the payment in our own name and then pay you, on a self-billed invoice, less our fee.

We do not arrange bookings, advertise you, set your prices or tell you who to see. Whether you work, when, where and for whom is your decision alone.

05Our fee

Our fee is the percentage shown on the Prices section of our website and in your account at the moment you create a link. It is taken from each payment a client makes. There is no monthly fee, no set-up fee and no minimum.

If we change the fee, we tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before. Links created before the change keep the old fee.

If someone you invited opens an account, your own fee is lower in every month in which that person takes at least one payment, during the first three months of their account. The reduced fee is shown in your account. It is a discount on your own payments: you never receive any part of another person’s payments.

Opening your account from an invitation does not change your own fee: you start with the standard fee and get the reduced fee in the same way, when someone you invited takes payments.

06Payouts

We pay you by bank transfer, on the schedule shown in your account, to a bank account in your own name. We never pay a third party, whoever asks and whatever the reason.

We may hold a payout for up to 90 days while a payment is disputed, under review for fraud, or where the law obliges us to.

073-D Secure on every payment

A payment through your link goes through only if the client approves it in their banking app with 3-D Secure. A card that cannot do that is refused. This protects you from payments made with stolen cards. It does not stop a client from disputing a payment for another reason, which is why the note on each link has to be honest and the receipt is sent every time.

08Limits

New accounts start with limits per link and per day. They are shown on our website and in your account, and they rise as your history builds. We may lower a limit when we see signs of fraud or unusual activity, and we tell you when we do.

09Refunds and disputed payments

You can refund a client from your account, in full or in part. The money goes back to the card they paid with.

If we refund a payment under our Refunds policy, or the client’s bank reverses it, the amount is taken from your next payout. If there is no next payout, you repay it within 14 days. Any dispute fee charged by the bank is passed on to you at cost, without a mark-up.

10Your responsibilities

11What is not allowed

The full list is in the Acceptable use and protection policy. In short: no account for someone else, no payout to someone else, no payments for anything unlawful, and no use of the service by or for anyone who is not working freely.

12Suspending or closing an account

You can close your account at any time, from your account or by writing to us. Money we owe you is still paid.

We can suspend or close an account at once if the information you gave was false, if this agreement or the Acceptable use policy is broken, if we suspect fraud or exploitation, or if the law obliges us to. We tell you why unless the law forbids it.

13Our liability

We run the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for the services you provide to your clients, for your tax position, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as a failure at a bank or a card network.

Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud or for gross negligence.

14Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before that date. Using the account after that date means you accept the new terms.

15Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If we cannot settle a disagreement by talking, the courts of [city of the registered office to be completed] decide it. Write to us first; most things are solved in one message.
